We knit ours with one, 50g skein (175 yards) of Koigu KPPPM (Painter's Palette Premium Merino) yarn held with one, 25g (164 yards) ball of Cumulus by Fybrespates, a super soft 74% Baby Suri Alpaca/26% Mulberry Silk blend.
You will also want to make sure you have US 3 - 3.25 mm needles (for the ribbing) & US 5 - 3.75 mm (for the body of the hat).
