"Haunui Wool is grown on our family farm based in the foothills of South Canterbury, New Zealand. We started breeding coloured sheep in the 1980s, with the goal of producing premium-quality wool. We have a passion for breeding sheep whose wool has a stunning handle, soft enough for next-to-skin clothing, yet long enough for easy hand spinning and maintaining handcraft characteristics. Our Haunui sheep have their own wide range of individual colours reflected in our wool collection, giving our wool a natural warmth and depth."

• The Haunui sheep live a natural life outside in large paddocks all year round.
• They graze grass and legumes during Spring to Autumn.
• Over Winter they graze Kale with supplementary hay or baleage for added fibre.
• We are certified by the New Zealand Farm Assurance Program and Responsible Wool Standard (our Haunui Wool products can't be sold under this due to our processors not being registered).
• This provides assurance regarding integrity, traceability, animal health and welfare, people, farms, natural resources, and biosecurity.
