We are suckers for a simple shawl pattern and even better when it is a free pattern! Spring Thing has been around for a while and we couldn't resist the urge to knit one too. We used Lily & Pine Sock Set in 'Down the Garden Path' and it is simply the perfect Spring/Summer shawl.

All pairings include one, 115g/420 yard or 425 yard skein of Merino Sock yarn from either Akara Yarns or Emily C Gillies for the main colour + one, 50g/175 yards skein of Koigu 100% Merino Yarn to be used as the contrast colour.
