Whitefaced Woodland also known as the Penistone sheep is a breed of sheep that came from Pennines Hills in northern England. They are white with a cute distinct pink nose. Their wool range from fine to coarse. When dyed, it does create a more watercolour effect such as Polwarth. It feels a bit similar to Texel. It has a 35-35mm micron count. Good for felting or spinning.

Please be aware that due to the nature of hand-dyeing, all braids of fibre will not look the same.
